Preparing for a data annotation interview

Use original scenarios to learn rule clarification, evidence and quality correction.

Annotator · Original teaching guide

What to learn and do

Explain rules, evidence, decisions and revisions: state what you actually did and how you checked it. Learning or simulated tasks are valid when identified honestly.

Original teaching example

Original scenario: a review finds missed labels. Explain how to locate affected batches, check the rule, revise and recheck; clearly identify a hypothetical example when you lack real experience.

Counterexample and correction

Counterexample: “I am careful, so I never make mistakes.” Correction: give checkable review actions without inventing client projects or accuracy figures.

When evidence is uncertain

This is an original teaching scenario, not an employer’s internal question, official answer or hiring guarantee.

Next step

Explain in your own words which judgment is supported and which remains uncertain, then continue to practice. Practice requires registration or sign-in. Reading this introduction is not course completion, assessment success or professional certification.
